(NYSE: VSH) hat heute eine neue dreifarbige LED mit einer Lichtstärke bis 252 mcd bei 5 mA für RGB-Displays und Hintergrundbeleuchtung vorgestellt. Die VLMRGB1500… in der SMT-fähigen Bauform 0404 mit den kompakten Maßen 1,0 x 1,0 x 0,65 mm ist mit einer gemeinsamen Anode und getrennten Kathodenanschlüssen für die roten, echtgrünen und blauen LED-Chips ausgestattet und ermöglicht die separate Ansteuerung jedes Chips. So kann durch Farbmischung jede Farbe in dem Farbraum dargestellt werden, der durch das Gamut-Dreieck im Farbraum CIE 1931 definiert ist.

Featuring common anode and separate cathode connections for the red, true green, and blue LED chips inside its compact 1.0 mm by 1.0 mm by 0.65 mm 0404 surface-mount package, the VLMRGB1500… enables individual control of each chip, making it possible to realize every color within the color room defined by the gamut triangle area inside the CIE 1931 color space through color mixing.
