This 1 kW, 48 V/12 V DC-DC converter uses a two-phase, interleaved buck-boost topology. The design protects the input and output, automatically switches between buck and boost modes, and operates at a switching frequency of 185 kHz, resulting in a compact form factor.
The EDLCBU-12V is a reference design that illustrates the implementation of a high-current supercapacitor backup solution. This solution is based on Vishay EDLC supercapacitors and the Analog Devices LTC3350IUHF high-current supercapacitor backup controller and system monitor.
This circuit can provide backup power for a 3.3 V system. It does this by charging and discharging electric double-layer capacitors (EDLCs) at a rate of up to 2.5 A. Energy moves from the bus to the capacitor during normal operation and is used to keep the bus at 3V during power supply dropouts.
Our Active Discharge Circuit reference designs provide reliable solutions for discharging stored energy in 400 V and 800 V capacitors. Ideal for automotive applications, they ensure system voltage reaches safe levels within required timeframes set by legal and manufacturer standards.

This design features SiC MOSFETs and a VOA300 optocoupler. It can handle continuous power up to 40 kW, operate continuously at full power with less than 30 W of losses, and do so without active cooling. It also features a preload function, continuous current monitoring, and overcurrent protection with shutdown in less than 2.5 μs.
Featuring TrenchFET® MOSFETs, this eFuse has been designed to handle a continuous current up to 100 A in 48V systems and operate continuously at maximum current with less than 14 W of losses, allowing for passive cooling. The eFuse is controlled by analog circuitry for precharge and overcurrent detection.
This eFuse PowerStage evaluation board is equipped with 1200 V, 20 mΩ total SiC MOSFETs to break bidirectional currents, as well as a pre-charge switch and resistor. A connector is provided for the user to easily attach custom controller designs, offering control (gates) and measurement signals (voltage and current).

The HV-IBSS-CANFD is a reference design that demonstrates an isolated current and voltage measurement unit connected via CAN-FD. The design illustrates the effectiveness of our low TCR battery shunt technology and high-precision, low-tracing-error voltage divider in minimizing measurement variations over temperature.
The HV-IBSS-USB is a reference design that demonstrates an isolated current and voltage measurement unit connected via USB-C. The design illustrates the effectiveness of our low TCR battery shunt technology and high-precision, low-tracing-error voltage divider in minimizing measurement variations over temperature.
This design uses an integrated voltage divider with the VIA0250DD reinforced isolation amplifier to provide an isolated DC voltage measurement. This setup is useful when microcontrollers (MCUs) in the low-voltage domain require an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to detect DC voltage in the high-voltage domain.
This design uses WSBE's low TCR shunt resistors and the VIA0050DD reinforced isolation amplifier to provide isolated AC current measurement. This is useful when microcontrollers (MCUs) in the low-voltage domain need to use an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to sense current in the high-voltage domain.

This study of a 3 kW, bidirectional 48 V / 12 V buck/boost converter consists of six 500 W modules that are operated in interleaved mode. In addition to the core buck/boost stage reverse polarity and input/output protection, current sensing, and innovative inductors are demonstrated.
This is a single-phase, single-stage filter evaluation board based on the 480 nH ICMS2321 common mode choke. The board utilizes THT X and Y capacitors that can be readily replaced, enabling precise customization of the filter characteristics to suit the specific requirements of each application.
